Hi we are doing our first Disney cruise on the Sept 2014 14 night Eastbound Panama Canal cruise. Hear that one experience not to miss is the Animators palate show dinner. Can explain what it is and what night it will occur on our cruise. Thanks

Welcome aboard, Rohan! Setting sail for the first time with Disney Cruise Line is always a very magical experience. But your family is in for even more magic as you'll be enjoying two whole weeks onboard the Disney Wonder as you sail through the Panama Canal! What an amazing experience!

You have heard right, that the Animator's Palate show night is not to be missed! On the Disney Wonder, Animator's Palate is a restaurant that is decorated all in black and white. Everything from the tables and chairs to the walls has this theme of black and white with artists' brushes and paint palates. Slowly, throughout the night, you'll see pictures on the walls begin to be colored in as the entire restaurant makes a dramatic change from black and white to color, just as an animator would color in his or her artwork. Be sure to check out what your servers are wearing as well. You may just notice a big change there too!

Finally, there is a big colorful parade at the end, complete with a visit from Sorcerer Mickey! It's a wonderful night, not to be missed. Normally, this show night in Animator's Palate will take place on your first night there. Since there are three rotations for guests, you may find you are dining in Animator's Palate on Night 1, 2 or 3 for the first time, so I'd expect it to be then. You can confirm this onboard, as rotations and events are subject to change.

Have a wonderful time planning for your cruise this fall, Rohan. Let us know if you have any other questions before you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew! We're happy to help!
