We are doing our first Disney cruise in October. There are 11 of us in 3 staterooms. Will I be able to do the online check in for everyone? What information will I need on each person?

    Ahoy, Shari!

Welcome back! The reality of your FIRST cruise adventure will really start to sink in when it's time to complete your Online Check-in!

Disney Cruise Line makes online check-in quite simple with step-by-step instructions. First, you'll need to know all three staterooms reservation numbers and the birthdate for at least one member per cabin to login. All Guests' home addresses will need to be put in along with an emergency contact. The good news is, there is a box to mark on each stateroom's check-in that allows you to apply the information to all if all the Guests in the stateroom live together and share the same emergency contact. Next, you need to know what form of identification (valid passport or state-issued birth certificate) each Guest plans to bring to board the ship. If it's a passport, there is a spot to type in the passport number, expiration date and country issued. Disney Cruise Line will also want to know each Guest's Pre-and Post-Cruise travel arrangements so flight numbers with departure and arrival times will need to be listed if you are flying in. After that, you'll set up an Onboard Account for each stateroom. You'll want to have the credit card type and card number along with the Cardholder's name and expiration date. This is also the spot where you will assign Guest charging privileges. (We made 13 the age in our family to make onboard purchases such as souvenirs, specialty drinks, etc...) You will also be in charge for selecting everyone's Port Arrival Time. This is offered in 30-minute increments from late morning until 3:30 p.m. so you'll want to choose the one closest to your estimated arrival. Finally, you'll sign-off on the Cruise Contract accepting the terms and conditions.

There is a section for the Youth Activity Registration. I'm about out of room, so please write back if you need information about any 3-12 year olds in your group.
