Ahoy Jennifer!
Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your first Disney Cruise! June is just around the corner and your magical voyage with Mickey and his seafaring crew will be here before you know it! The Dream is a spectacular vessel and you will have an amazing time experiencing all she has to offer! When my two where younger, we often choose to stay on the ship in Nassau to enjoy all the activities onboard. The pools were a little less crowded, and there is always fun going on in the Oceaneer Club & Lab! But, if you would like to venture off the boat and enjoy a beach day, the
Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day is a great option for your crew. This secluded beach provides a day of fun in the sun with a light lunch, games, and floats included in your fare. There are some additional opportunities available like water rentals for an additional charge so don't forget your credit card. You can spend three and half hours or six hours on the island depending on which departure time you select.
Castaway Cay is Disney's incredible private island! This is my favorite port of call! Your family will be able to splash around in the crystal clear water and build sand castles in the soft, silky sand. Spring-A-Leak is a fun interactive water playground that is sure to delight your little ones. If you enjoy bike riding, a family bike ride is a great option since rentals include training wheels, child seats and helmets. The flat, nature trail is very easy to navigate and a fantastic way to see the beauty of the island.
I hope these suggestions help! As you count down the days until your wondrous voyage, please let me know if you have any other cruise questions!
Have a wonderful day and bon voyage!
Nancy
