Welcome aboard, Jennifer! You must be looking forward to escaping the cold up in New York and heading for the warm waters of the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line this spring! Before you know it, April will be here and you'll be walking into the atrium lobby of the ship as the Cast Members announce your family's name and applaud your arrival. There is no better way to begin a magical vacation than this!
Disney Cruise Line has
parking available at Port Canaveral, with costs based on the length of your sailing. Prices start at $60 for a 3-night cruise, up to $120 for a 7-night sailing. I've parked there before and have felt very safe leaving the car in this garage, knowing it's safely monitored day and night and it's very close to the cruise terminal. However, there are other options for parking lots nearby. Parking services such at Park n' Cruise offer parking lots a bit further away, but with shuttle service to the port. Alternately, since you're driving in from New York, if you are planning to stay at a hotel in the Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach area the night before, you might choose to book one of the hotels such as the Country Inn and Suites, Marriott's Residence Inn, the Radisson or one of a few others that offer cruise guests shuttles to the port and the availability of leaving their cars at the hotel. That is pretty convenient!
I hope those details help as you continue to plan, Jennifer! Stop back again if you have other questions before you head out to sea with Captain Mickey and his crew! I'm happy to help!
