We are doing the DVC Mother's Day Brunch and they said when making the reservation "no flip flops". Are other styles of sandals allowed? Nicer thong sandals maybe?

    Hello, Marcela!

I am so glad that you were able to make a reservation for the Mother's Day Brunch that was available to book for Disney Vacation Club members. This is such a popular event, selling out each year, and the Alice in Wonderland theme this year should be so special! I can't wait to see pictures.

If there's one thing I've learned from all of my trips to Walt Disney World, it's that there's nothing like the perfect pair of shoes. I spoke with several people today about just that for the Mother's Day brunch, and I was informed that the flip-flop thing is incorrect. You may indeed wear flip-flops - or any other type of sandal you are most comfortable in. And really, who wants to tell a mom on Mother's Day how she's supposed to look?

I want to wish all of the moms in your party a very Happy Mother's Day. Have an absolutely magical time in Wonderland at the brunch.
