We’re doing a Disneyland vacation in June and want to do the Paint The Night Dining package. Will be doing a reservation 60 days out of. What time does the window open to make a reservation? 3am, 6am, 12pm ? Don’t want to miss out on the package.Thank you

Welcome back to planDisney, Eric! I’m right there with you. Paint the Night is high on my must-do list, too! When I heard the news about the dining packages for this dazzling parade, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It’s such a fantastic way to secure a great viewing spot while also enjoying a delicious meal prior. Talk about a win-win!

Typically, dining reservations (including those for dining packages) open at 6:00 AM PST, which, as you mentioned, would be 3:00 AM your time, 60 days in advance. However, my fellow panelists and I have noticed that some locations release availability even earlier, so I’d recommend checking starting at 3:00 AM PST (midnight your time) just to be safe. Since speed is key, I’d also suggest logging into either the Disneyland app or the Disneyland website ahead of time to increase your chances of securing that coveted reservation the moment it becomes available.

And Eric, I have even more exciting news to share! In addition to Paint the Night, Disney just announced that reservations for the World of Color Happiness! dessert party will open on April 10! This brand-new nighttime spectacular will light up the skies at Disney California Adventure Park this summer, bringing stunning visuals and an unforgettable soundtrack. If you’ve never experienced a dessert party before, I can’t recommend it enough. Imagine settling into your own designated seat, enjoying a spread of delicious treats, and taking in a breathtaking show. Pure Disney magic!

But wait, there’s even more magic in store for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary! The beloved Wondrous Journeys nighttime spectacular will once again illuminate Sleeping Beauty Castle, celebrating Disney animation through stunning projections, music, and fireworks. Over at “it’s a small world”, the Tapestry of Happiness projection show will highlight nostalgic Disney moments. Meanwhile, Carthay Circle Theatre will host a special musical experience, and the Better Together parade will return, bringing up to 30 Pixar Pals (including some rarely-seen favorites) to Disney California Adventure.

With so much magic on the horizon, your trip is sure to be unforgettable, Eric! If you have any more questions or need help planning, visit us again at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a wonderful visit!
