Disney Fantasy, is a dream come true! I have been eyeing the transatlantic Disney cruises for years now. One day, I will book one for my family, but in the meantime, I would love to help you navigate transportation from Port Canaveral to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Booking a
ground transfer from Port Canaveral to the airport with
Disney Cruise Line makes for smooth sailing. I’m glad to hear you’ve already booked yours. The night before you disembark the ship, you will receive luggage tags with an adorable Disney Character. This Character designates the group you will exit the cruise ship with or disembark. You can place your luggage outside of your cabin on the last night of the cruise, and it will be transferred to the port for you. When you disembark the ship, your luggage will be waiting for you in the area marked with the Character from your luggage tag. You can also choose the Express Walk-Off, where you can disembark as soon as customs is cleared. If you Express Walk-Off, you will keep your luggage in your possession the night before debarkation and take it when you disembark the ship. There is no assistance with luggage when you choose the Express Walk-Off option. Express Walk-Off is a good option if you have an early flight to catch from Orlando International Airport.
Whether you choose the Express Walk-Off option or wait for your disembarkation group to be called, buses will be waiting to transport you from Port Canaveral to Orlando International Airport as soon as you depart the ship and gather your luggage. When you disembark, you will be instructed where to go to take the shuttle to the airport.
