We are doing the Disney dining plan with one table meal, one quick service and one snack. Can a table meal be substituted for a quick service meal if we don't want to wait for a sit down meal one day?

    Hi Clarissa,

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to have your food budget already figured out prior to leaving home. I love the basic dining plan because it provides enough food options for most families to enjoy.

You can always trade a table service meal for a counter service meal but you lose the value of the table service meal. If you think you will be eating most of your meals at counter service, you might want to trade to the Quick Service meal plan.

I always recommend a table service meal once a day. My family usually has a table service meal each day we are at the Walt Disney World Resorts. We generally have dinner each night to allow us time to relax, recap the day and decide what we want to do in the evening.

Plus if we are touring during the Florida heat or during a crowded time, this makes one meal less stressful by providing air conditioning and a seat without searching.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
