Ahoy, Janice, thanks for sailing by planDisney!
How exciting that you’ll be traveling at sea during the Holiday season! I experienced my first Holiday at sea last season and it was probably the most magical experience. I’m here to share some insight on travel documentation as you set sail on your
Disney Cruise.
While not all sailings require a passport, it is always
strongly recommended that guests of all ages, including infants, travel with a valid passport. Should any situation arise, this will allow you to travel wherever you need to, and is required for readmission onto the ship at port excursions. Make sure to review the
travel documentation requirements specific to your port so you are prepared. Guests without proper documentation will be denied embarking onto the ship.
Once aboard the ship, take advantage of all the holiday merriment happening! You’ll have the opportunity to meet characters in their festive attire, the kids can enjoy the
youth clubs, and there are special activities for guests of all ages. Be sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to keep up with the entertainment and activity schedules. If this is a
Very Merrytime Cruise, you won’t want to miss the Holiday Tree Lightning!
I’m wishing you and your family the best time, Janice. Once the booking window opens, I recommend securing any
port excursions and activities right away as they’ll sail away quickly! If you have any other planning questions before your arrival, feel free to
send them our way!
Bon voyage!
Camille
