Doing Dessert Party at MVMCP. Website says seating is 1st come, 1st served. Have done regular Dessert Party & tables were always assigned. How early should we arrive to try for table by railing? DS will be cranky & not want to stand...lol! Thanks!

Hi Lynn! I am so happy that you will A) be attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and B) that you are going to experience Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace! This sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season!

You are correct that tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, but no need worry, all tables offer a great view of Cinderella Castle! If you want to be seated closest to the railing, I suggest arriving no later than an hour and a half before the fireworks begin. However, because you are paying to be at the Special Event and you are guaranteed an excellent viewing area either way, my suggestion is to delight in the festivities and arrive around about an hour before the fireworks begin. Since you will have to check-in starting at 4:00 pm, I would also suggest asking the friendly Cast Member what time that they recommend returning as they have daily experience with how the crowd fills the terrace and can give you the best advice.

I hope you have a magical time and don’t forget to purchase Memory Maker to get everyone in those festive pictures! There are so many great Disney PhotoPass opportunities! Come and visit us again real soon!
