We will be doing a cruise in November then 2 days for parks just there last year. Any suggestions of out of ordinary things to do besides parks for a boy toddler? My husband wants to do something besides the parks and I'm running out of ideas. Help!

    Ahoy Dana!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  I just returned from a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort so hopefully I can give you some good ideas for your stay in November!
A visit to Downtown Disney is always a lot of fun especially with the addition of Splitsville Luxury Lanes.  My kids love to bowl, and I'm sure your little one can use the ramp and bumpers to better his game!  There are a variety of fabulous dining options and shopping available that you can definitely spend an entire day there.  Another idea is to visit one of the miniature golf courses on property-Fantasia Gardens and Fairways or the Winter Summerland.  Bike rentals are available and the Surrey Bikes are especially fun and different!  These can be rented at Port Orleans Riverside, the Boardwalk, or at Fort Wilderness.  Also available at Port Orleans Riverside and Fort Wilderness are the Horse Drawn Carriage rides.  If boats are more your family's speed, boat rentals are available at several resorts.  My family has enjoyed the Sea Raycers in the past which are the mini-powerboats.
If you don't want to hit the parks, you can always visit one or both of the Disney Water Parks, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.  Both parks have areas for little ones to enjoy splashtacular fun! Since you will be coming of the Disney Cruise, you may want to experience the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage from the Contemporary!  This voyage begins with delicious treats and a visit from Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. On your boat ride, you will cruise to an amazing spot to view Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant if it is offered the night of your voyage!
I'm about out of room, Dana!  I hope my answer is helpful!  Please write back if I can assist you further!
    Have a magical day!
