Hi Amanda,
Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question! Some of my very favorite memories with my children have been the interactions they've had with Characters during meals at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Yes, Amanda, you are correct. All of the
Character Dining meals are charged per adult and per child. The majority of these restaurants are either all-you-can-eat buffets or served family style, and I must say...they sure have some delicious food! From the Omelette Station and my personal favorite, Mickey waffles, at
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park to Home Style Pot-Roast and Short Cake at The Garden Grill in Epcot, there is always something yummy to enjoy! There are a few Character Dining locations, like
Cinderella's Royal Table, where you'll order what you'd like to eat, but the cost is still all-inclusive. If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel and have purchased the
Disney Dining Plan, you may be able to use dining entitlements to cover the cost of your meal.
There are also
many other opportunities to interact with Characters throughout the Theme Parks. However you meet the Characters, be sure to have your camera ready to capture some super special moments! If you'd like to collect their autographs, I recommend bringing clickable Sharpies in lots of fun colors.
Enjoy your time with ALL of your Disney friends, Amanda, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
