I will be doing a cake decorating class at Amorette's Patisserie the first week of April. I will be doing the Artist’s Choice Character Dome Cake vs. the tradition Mickey cake. Can you tell me if this is still a Mickey cake just decorated for spring?

    Hi Melanie!

You're in for a super fun experience at Amorette's Patisserie! This unique experience is just one of the many reasons I love Walt Disney World Resort so much. There is always something new - and delicious - to try!

The Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie is no exception. It is a combination of delicious cake, hands-on fun, and amazing Cast Members who help you turn a small cake into a magical creation. What a fun way to spend the morning! While the regular experience at the bakery will create a Mickey Character Dome Cake, the Artist's Choice mixes it up. Each week, the culinary artists choose a new cake. It may be a different Character Dome Cake, a seasonal offering, or even something as fun as a Mickey Ice Cream Bar cake, as my fellow Disney Parks Mom Panel mom, Leslie, answers in this post.

As your class approaches, you can also reach out to Amorette's Patisserie and inquire about the Artist's Choice cake for your week. They can be reached at (407) 934-3500.

Oh! And, in case you want to explore Disney Springs after your class, the bakery will happily store your cake for pick up later in the day.

I hope you have a great time in your class!
