Ahoy there Bettyarlene! Thanks for floating back by planDisney.
You are going to love your Concierge sailing on the
Fantasy! We've sailed Disney Concierge a few times, and love that the personalized service starts even before you arrive! Your dedicated team is happy to help you
book Port Adventures and secure that elusive Castaway Cay Cabana! Once you arrive at the port, you will be whisked away to a special check-in area, where you will be personally escorted onto the boat. From there, a dream is a wish your heart makes, and the Concierge staff will remain your Fairy Godparents throughout your cruise!
Your Concierge stateroom will have robes and slippers available for use, and let me tell you, those are our favorite "hotel" slippers! My daughter never took hers off. Understandably, you want to make your stateroom door as personalized as the cruise, but let me walk you through nautical decor rules:
★ Leave the tape and glue at home.
Cruise rules explicitly state that magnets are acceptable for stateroom doors, but anything else that adheres to the door will incur a fine.
★ You can hang something from the starfish above your cabin number. I've seen many Disney-themed signs happily announcing whose cabin I'm walking by. But! Over-the-door hangers are prohibited as they can damage the door and/or frame.
★ Consider a pennant banner that you can hang at the top of the door frame (which isn’t wood) and affix it with magnets. On our
Very Merrytime Cruise, our next-door neighbor had the most magical snowflakes flittering in the breeze.
Bettyarlene, I hope this gives you a few ideas for your door decor. Since you love brightening things up, consider
in-room decor through
Onboard Gifts! We ordered the Christmas decor package on one of our cruises, and walking into our stateroom was a magical delight! If you have any other questions, you know where to find us.
Bon Voyage!
