    Are DoD contractors allowed to take advantage of Military Salute Tickets? I wanted to confirm this information. I've read this is a "test" program only until Dec 19, 2018 and contractors have to present their CAC card to get the discount.

    Hi Todd!

    Being able to take advantage of the incredible ticket offer that the Walt Disney World Resort provides for members of the U.S. Military and their families is such an amazing way to be able to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Luckily, I just spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that Active Department of Defense Contractors are allowed to take advantage of this amazing ticket offer!  That being said, the contractor will need to present his or her Common Access Card (CAC card) to be eligible to purchase and activate these tickets.  The Common Access Card must have the green stripe, and no other type of identification will be accepted.  This offer is currently temporary and has not yet been extended for next year, so it expires when the current military ticket offer expires.  That being said, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements or special offers for the upcoming year!  

    Remember, when you purchase military discounted tickets from a base ticketing office, you will receive certificates that you will then need to activate at any Guest Relations location before you will be able to enter the parks.  Because of this, make sure you also bring the proper form of identification with you to activate your tickets!
