Ahoy, LuAnn!
Welcome to planDisney! It's just about time to wave bon voyage to
Port Canaveral and sail away on the beautiful
Disney Fantasy on St. Patrick's Day! Be sure to stop by
O'Gills Pub in Europa (Deck 4, Aft) for a festive background if you're planning to wear green.
As you prepare what to bring for check-in at the cruise terminal, you'll want to make sure everything you need is in your carry-on luggage. Each member of your traveling party will need to have either a
valid passport or an original or certified copy of a birth certificate. If anyone in your party is using a birth certificate and 16 and over, they will also need a government-issued photo ID. Although Disney Cruise Line always recommends valid passports, birth certificates are acceptable on closed-loop cruises like yours, leaving and returning to the same US port. You'll also need a copy of your
port arrival form that you received when you completed your online check-in. You can either print this off or save the QR code to a mobile wallet. This will be shown multiple times from arrival outside the terminal to boarding the ship. I also like to have any
DisneyBand+ we plan to use onboard, as the Cast Member will make sure it is linked to your account before boarding.
The
muster drill on the Disney Fantasy will take place mid-afternoon, and all Guests are required to attend. Your muster station will be listed in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so you can check that location as soon as you log in at the port. It is also listed on the back of your stateroom door. One member of each stateroom will need to show their
"Key to the World" card or DisneyBand+ to their assembly station leader to check in. Your group will then be assigned a place to sit or stand for the drill. After the drill, head up to Deck 11 or 12 for the
"Sailing Away" Deck Party! It's the perfect way to kick off vacation, see your favorite Disney friends on stage, and hear the ship's magical horns for the first time.
LuAnn, the Disney Fantasy is such a wonderful choice for your vacation. I hope you enjoy every magical moment of this spectacular vessel.
