What documentation do you have to bring to show your child is under 3 years old, how does this work?

    Hi there Julie!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I have never been asked to show proof of age when traveling to Walt Disney World with my four children. We have traveled many times over the years when the children were under the age of  three and we have never needed a birth certificate or other form of documentation to prove their age. If there is a question, cast members may ask the age of a child, but it is my understanding that they use the honor system. If you are concerned, it definitely wouldn't hurt to have a copy of the birth certificate especially if your little one looks older than they really are. At Walt Disney World table-service restaurants, I am usually asked for the ages of my children, when we arrive for our Advanced Dining Reservation. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional vacation planning questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Julie!

    Happy Planning,
