Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle!
OH MY DISNEY! I am so excited for you to set sail with Captain Mickey for the very first time! I am honored you sailed by to create a magical experience on the
Disney Wonder for your family!
There are so many
onboard activities and
Port Adventures to experience during your sailing. Making a point to do some of these together as a large group makes for some of the best memories. For example, attend family games and parties in the
D Lounge together. A few weeks ago we participated in a family game show that had an Inside Out theme and I will never forget some of the answers my children gave!
Pirate Night is another memory maker while onboard. Take the time before your trip to plan out pirate costumes for everyone in your family to fully participate in the evening's activities. Dressing like a pirate puts everyone in the mood for the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party and makes for some great pictures with all your favorite
Disney characters! For some extra fun, at an additional fee your young sailors can transform into pirates when the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique turns into the Pirates League for Pirate Night.
Since you are also on a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing, I would recommend planning out Halloween costumes for the family as well! Make it a memorable Halloween by coordinating your costumes with a Disney theme. Maybe the Incredibles, the monsters from Monsters Inc. or even Disney villains!
A final pinch of pixie dust is to order milk and cookies from
Room Service delivered to your stateroom each night before you turn in for the evening.
No matter how you do it, spend some time together and enjoy making magical memories onboard! Bon voyage! Angie
