DM, DH,and DD (5) are coming early Dec for 2nd trip. We are staying at GF. I wanted to know how can I request a certain room location? Of ocurse, when I booked I choose my room, but I wanted to try to a certain bldg and certain view.

It's very simple.  All you need to do is call Disney Reservations and ask them to add a comment to your reservation regarding your building and/or room preference.  Please keep in mind that you are never guaranteed a specific building or view, but they will try to accommodate your request if possible.  In reality you won't likely spend too much time in your room, so I wouldn't be overly focused on room preferences.

If you want further tips on room preferences, please click HERE to read several pieces of advice that I received from many different resort managers (including the Grand Floridian).  If you do want to follow-up about your room preference before your arrival, I would recommend you call the Grand Floridian directly about 4 days before you arrive, just to confirm that your reservation includes notes about your building/view preferences.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
