We're going to DL & CA mid July for my son, daughter, brother & my birthday. I was wondering if there is anything special we can do for it as a family? We are going to do dinner so will they sing happy birthday or get to see a special character?

    Greetings Lorena,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Fantasmic day. Spending your birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth is going to be magical.

Be sure to stop by Guest Services and get your party a free Birthday button to wear on your special day; Cast Members that see you in the parks will be sure to send you warm wishes throughout the day. We love to visit a lot of Meet 'N' Greets when celebrating magical birthdays, the Disney Characters know how to make each Guest feel special.

You have a great plan set forth with selecting a Character Dining Experience at a participating restaurant. The Disney Characters will stop by for autographs and pictures. Make sure to tell your server that you are celebrating a birthday, you never know what magic may come your way.

You can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake number at (714) 781-3463 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

Depending on your children's ages, they might enjoy a special makeover by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located in Fantasyland near Cinderella's Castle is a wonderful option for children ages 3 - 12 years old to participate in, whether it's being transformed into a stunning Princess or valiant Prince.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please visit me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
