Hi Kimi!
Thanks for bringing this question to
planDisney!
I’m happy to let you know that goggles are allowed in the
Disney World resort pools. In fact, my kids still won’t let me live down the trip where I forgot their goggles because they only enjoy the pool if they have goggles, too. It’s one of the first things I pack now!
If you’re looking for quieter times to enjoy the pool, I’ve found that when the pool first opens for the day or later in the evening are great times to visit. There are usually much fewer people there at those times.
It’s also good to note that many Disney resorts have multiple pools. While the feature pools tend to be busy during the day, the quiet pools usually have fewer people. Even though the quiet pools aren’t themed, my boys still love them. And as a parent, I appreciate the more laid back vibe sometimes!
If you happen to be staying at the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Yacht Club, or Beach Club, you can think about upping your pool game by
booking a cabana! It was such a perfect way to have a relaxing pool day on one of our recent trips, and we’re already dreaming about booking that experience again during a future trip.
Just make sure to call 60 days prior to your check-in date to try to snag one if you’re interested because it’s a popular add on!
Hope that helps! We’ll see you real soon!
