If a Dive Quest time slot says 1:30pm, do you know what time we'd be in the water? My wife and daughter want to dine at Coral Reef and watch us. Thanks.

    Hi there Andrew,

Welcome to planDisney! What a thrilling experience to have at EPCOT Seas Adventures. And timing it so your family can watch your DiveQuest from the Coral Reef Restaurant is such a fabulous idea. That will make it all the more memorable for your entire party! It will also be an excellent opportunity for your family to capture some photos and videos of your diving adventure. Woo hoo!

Although this is a special tour experience that lasts around 2 hours, the dive time is around 40 minutes. The general consensus I'm hearing is that you'll probably be in the water around 40 minutes after your reservation time slot begins. That puts your dive start around 2:10 pm. Because their dining experience can easily take around an hour, I'd recommend making an advance dining reservation at Coral Reef for around 1:45 pm - 2:00 pm. Then your wife and daughter won't miss any of the show! You shouldn't have any trouble securing that dining reservation, but it looks like you are just inside your 60 day reservation window... so I'd book that right away.

Note that another great location for friends and family to view your dive is from the upstairs viewport, in the tunnel of The Seas with Nemo & Friends. So if for whatever reason the Coral Reef dining plan timing doesn't work out, or ends while you are still diving - I would tell your clan to head up there.

This pavilion has always been one of my family's favorites. The aquariums are so breathtaking and peaceful, how exciting that you'll get to experience this magical underwater world first hand! Did you know that you can receive a discount on this experience if you are a DVC member, Annual Passholder, or have a Disney Rewards Visa card? Be sure to mention it when booking if any of these apply.

Have a wonderful time on your DiveQuest, Andrew! Sending pixie dust for your entire family to have an amazing vacation at Disney World. Please drop me a line at planDisney if I can help with any other questions.

    Just keep swimming!
    Tami
