We are going to Disneyworld in Sept. with 5 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son in tow. Does Disneyworld have a "signature" meal or food they are known or famous for and is a must try?

There are a few things that come to mind when I think of food that is very stereotypically related to Walt Disney World, but the one that springs to the front each and every time is the famous DoleWhip.  This delicious soft serve ice cream treat is available at two locations at Walt Disney World.  The first location is inside the Magic Kingdom at the Aloha Isle refreshment stand.  The only other place you can find it is at Captain Cook's snack company at the Polynesian Resort.  It's pineapple flavor, and in the heat of the Florida sunshine, it is a cool and delicious treat.  My kids won't let me leave without a DoleWhip float!

You'll also see - and smell - the delectable turkey legs everywhere.  These are an incredibly popular snack at each of the Walt Disney World theme parks.  The smoked turkey is incredible, and the gargantuan legs are a meal for one person or a good sized snack for a family.

The list of must try items would not be complete without the absolute must try - the Mickey Bar.  This frozen treat is a Mickey head shaped portion of vanilla ice cream on a stick, dipped in rich, delicious chocolate.

And try to do a character meal - especially with kids in tow!  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a must do, but you are likely to have just as much fun at Crystal Palace, Donald's Safari Breakfast, or even the Garden Grill at EPCOT.

    Have a wonderful, delicious vacation!
