Hey there, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney!
Your trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it and I'm sure each and every moment you spend at the Resort will feel like it's sprinkled in pixie dust! It's a great idea to start planning your daily itineraries and set your Theme Park plans in place. Now that all Resort Guests need both a valid Park admission ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day, you'll want to make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you head down to see Mickey Mouse!
If you have a Guest room reservation at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'll find that you're entitled to some amazing benefits, one being
Early Theme Park Entry! With this perk, Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels and select other hotels are able to enter every Theme Park 30 minutes early each and every day! I'm an early bird, especially on vacation, so this is a benefit that my family and I take advantage of every day. We love to walk down a mostly quiet Main Street U.S.A. and be the very first Guests to hop on
Peter Pan's Flight.
Guests of
Disney Deluxe Resorts are entitled to even more benefits and even more time in the Parks! Guests who choose to stay in Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shade of Green have additional time within the Parks even after they close to the public. While the schedule for September has not yet been released, EPCOT is usually open for
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on Monday evenings and Magic Kingdom tends to stay open for these hours on Wednesday evenings. These hours and days are certainly subject to change, but it might help for now until the September schedule is released. I would keep checking the link above to see when new days and hours are announced!
Just remember that even if you make Theme Park Reservations today you can always cancel and rebook as long as there is availability on the days you want to change. You may also want to look into adding the
Park Hopper Option to your Theme Park Ticket. This way, no matter where you make your Theme Park Reservations in the morning you can "hop" to the Theme Park with Extended Evening hours at night!
Have an incredible trip, Joseph!
