We are going to be in Disneyworld as part of a much longer vacation. We will have our personal bicycles with us. Will we be able to store them in our resort room?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Celeste!  I wheelie like your question!

One of the things I always recommend doing during a Walt Disney World vacation is to take an occasional break away from the Parks. Taking the family on a relaxing bike ride is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon at one of the resort hotels. Some of the resorts even have specially constructed paths for bikes (and pedestrians) that take riders on a scenic route around the resort area. I've even noticed bike racks outside some of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, such as Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I spoke with Guest Services today, and they said you are welcome to keep your bicycles in your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room.  If your room is on an upper level, you can also check with Bell Services to see if they could store them for you. There are also seven bike rental locations available on property if needed (due to construction, bike rentals are currently unavailable at Disney's Wilderness Lodge). A good friend of mine just returned from her stay at Disney's BoardWalk Villas where she and her three kids rented a Surrey Bike- this is now on my Disney Bucket List!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Celeste! Just make sure you don't get "two-tired" from all that bike riding!
