Boo to you, Amy!
Welcome, foolish mortal, to planDisney. I’m excited those playful spooks led you here with your question today, and I’m even more excited to hEAR you will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the spookiest time of year. Will you be attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip? This beloved annual event is back this yEAR in full-force and is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. Don’t wait too long to purchase your tickets though, because it is known to sell out.
Guests are encouraged to go as cashless as possible, but
Walt Disney World Resort does indeed accept cash as a form of payment at this time. I know that news is music to your ears, but have you considered utilizing Disney Gift Cards instead of carrying cash? I would hate for something to happen where you lose part of the cash you have with you, and Disney Gift Cards are a secure alternative that’s accepted property-wide. You can
purchase Disney Gift Cards on shopDisney, at many major retailers, and on property at Walt Disney World Resort. You can then set up an account on the
Disney Gift Card website, which allows you to save the details of up to six cards. If you lose one, all you have to do is transfer the lost card’s balance to another one of your saved cards. You can even consolidate smaller denomination gift cards onto one gift card (up to $1,000). It’s nice to have that peace of mind when you are on vacation, so it’s definitely something to consider.
Amy, I hope this information proves helpful.
Let me know if you have further questions, and have a spooktacular trip!
Hurry back,
Alyssa
