Hi Carolina,
It's not too much longer until your vacation to the most magical place on earth! SO exciting!
The good news for you is that May is not known for being a month with a lot of rain and typically has mild, gorgeous weather. However, it's not uncommon for an afternoon Florida shower to pass through, and of course, we can't yet know for sure what the weather will be like for your upcoming vacation. In the wise words of Winnie the Pooh though, "When life gives you a rainy day, play in the puddles." I can't think of anywhere I'd rather spend a rainy day than at the
Walt Disney World Resort. While a rainy day may force a few attractions to close, my family has found that there are some perks, too, like lower crowds and still plenty of amazing things to do.
My advice to you would be to prepare for rain by bringing ponchos with you and throwing an extra outfit or two in your suitcase in case you get caught in a shower. If you happen to have a stroller, don't forget a rain cover for it, too, or at the very least an extra poncho to throw over it. I will never forget the time we came out of our dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table to find that our
two double strollers were completely soaked. Oops! I assure you that we haven't made that mistake again. Having to carry several little Mouseketeers while pushing empty, wet strollers certainly taught us our lesson!
The good news is that with the Florida sunshine, even if you do get a bit wet, you'll dry quickly! Sending pixie dust for gorgeous weather for you, but rest assured that not even a rain storm can steal the joy of your trip. I hope you have a truly magical vacation, Carolina!
