Hi, DisneyWorld! We are leaving this Saturday, 11/17/12, but I live in CA and don't know how to pack for FL in November. What is the weather going to be like? What do I pack and keep it light given the travel restrictions these days?

    Hi Nola!

Being able to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks during the holiday season proves a special time for you and your family. With the parks in full holiday decor, and the resorts dressed with wreaths and garlands, the spirit of the season will surround you all.

November is a relatively cool month, and you may be experiencing highs in the low 70's and evening temperatures at around low 60's. Definitely sweater/sweatshirt weather. You can bring lightweight capris/long pants and long sleeve tee's and feel quite comfortable touring the parks. One way that we keep our luggage light is to do laundry while at the resort. Every resort has coin operated laundry facilities on property, enabling guests to pack less, and enjoy the benefits of freshly washed clothes. You can also send your clothing out to be cleaned, but it is at a higher price and the turn around is usually two days or so.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
