I am going to DisneyWorld with my family for 10 days on December 1st. Kids are 9, 6, 4. Should we be thinking about 1 Park each day, or splitting it up and doing 1 in the morning, and a different one in the afternoon? Also, any good lunch suggestions?

Hi, Mike!  I think whether or not you split the days up is a personal choice.  For my family, most of the time, we prefer to just do one park per day.  Once we're there, it's hard to get the kids to want to leave the park we're in, so we usually just stay until we've done everything we hoped to do.

We do occasionally take advantage of things like Extra Magic Hours.  If you are a Walt Disney World resort guest, you may take advantage of these hours - one extra in the morning and up to three extra in the evening at a specified theme park - to extend your day.  We might do an early Extra Magic Hours at one park, then switch later to the one that has evening Extra Magic Hours, so we get more theme park time.

With 10 days, you really have enough time to see and do much of what you'd like to do without having to stress yourself with extra long days.  I think you would be fine planning to stay put in one theme park per day.

As for lunch, there are so many wonderful options.  For Quick Service locations, our favorites include Cosmic Ray's at the Magic Kingdom, Pizza Planet at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Flametree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Katsura Grill at EPCOT in the Japan pavilion.  If you'd like to have a table service dining experience, we love Crystal Palace character lunch at Magic Kingdom, Chefs de France at EPCOT, Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and check out Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

    Have a great vacation!
