We will be at Disneyworld from Dec 29 - Jan 5 and have tickets for all 4 of the theme parks. We're trying to decide which one will be the best to visit on New Year's Eve. Can you tell me what kind of celebration each of the parks will have that day/night?

Hi, Michelle!  Specific information has not yet been released for New Year's Eve 2012, but I can give you an idea of what you may experience.

You'll typically find extended hours at the theme parks.  The Magic Kingdom, for example, was open until 2 AM last year.  There will be special fireworks displays at both the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT usually features a special version of Illuminations.  Daytime through the parks is about the same as what it is most days, except you'll still have the holiday decorations to enjoy.

I cannot recommend highly enough that when you make your decision, plan to be at the park early in the day, and stay put!  I don't recommend park hopping that day, as the parks can fill to capacity, and there is no guarantee that you will end up in the park you are hoping to enjoy the midnight countdown in!

    Have an awesome vacation!
