    We will be in Disneyworld in 3 days and made the decision to buy annual passes. We don't have enough time to purchase the AP and receive the magic bands in the mail. Can they be picked up at the park? Can we buy a pass now and redeem at the park?

    Hey Mariah!

    I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in just three days!  You are going to love being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and receiving all the Passholder benefits.

    I just called to verify my information for you, and the friendly Cast Member I spoke with assured me you can purchase your annual pass now and activate it at the park. In fact, I have previously purchased mine online and redeemed it at the theme park. Unfortunately, the Cast Member said you will need to redeem your annual pass and then go to Guest Relations inside the theme park in order to order/customize a MagicBand, which will be mailed to you.  Follow this link to learn more about receiving a MagicBand as an Annual Passholder and how to activate your annual pass. Rest assured, you will be able to use your Passholder card for theme park entry.

    If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, check at the front desk of your resort to see if they have MagicBands to use for the remainder of your vacation. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel do receive complimentary MagicBands. I once lost my MagicBand and was able to get a replacement at the front desk of my Disney Resort hotel.
