    Can I use a disneyworld band at disneyland?

    Thanks for bringing your question to us and it would be my pleasure to assist you! I'm a big tech geek, so I was thrilled when they brought MagicBand+ functionality to the Disneyland Resort in 2022. Not all MagicBands work at the Disneyland Resort, however, so here are the details that you should know.

    Only MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort currently. A MagicBand that was used at the Walt Disney World Resort will function at the Disneyland Resort as long as it is a MagicBand+. Older types of Bands will not work, so it's important to know what kind you have. When I transferred my MagicBand+ over to my Disneyland ticket, I found that I had to un-attach it from my Walt Disney World account first. Each MagicBand+ may only be attached to one MyDisney account and one ticket at a time. 

    You'll find that it's way more convenient to navigate the Disneyland Resort with a MagicBand+. I particularly love the haptic feedback and lights that appear at certain locations and during nighttime spectaculars. It's a nice little sprinkle of magic to brighten your day! And you'll be visiting during Pixar Fest, a Resort wide celebration of all things Pixar! I hope you've brushed up on your Pixar trivia because Inside Out 2 is currently taking the box office by storm!
