I have been to DisneyWorld approximately 10 times. I was wondering if you can recommend doing something that maybe we haven't experienced before?

    Hi Kerrye!

The best thing about Walt Disney World is that it is always changing! As Walt himself once said, "Progress is impossible without change".  And this is even more true today - the parks and resorts never sit still and continually get better each year!

Some of the awesome new additions to Walt Disney World this year include the incredible new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. You don't have to be an intergalactic nerd (like me!) to appreciate this great new addition! Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is NOT TO BE MISSED! And, to really immerse you and your family an out-of-this-world experience be sure to stop by Oga's Cantina (reservations are recommended) for a trip through a famous movie destination. While you're in Disney's Hollywood Studios, swing by Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, a brand new experience expected to open in March 2020.

Disney Springs is always changing too. There are so many new and unique experience to check out there! If you are a Star Wars fan, or a technology or video game enthusiast, The Void: Step Beyond Reality may be a sleeper hit for you. During our last Walt Disney World trip, this was the surprise winner for the most fun new experience for our family. Every single family member loved saving the galaxy. We couldn't stop talking about it!

Another family favorite is Splitsville Luxury Lanes. This destination isn't just great for the fun, lively bowling atmosphere, but also for the Splitsville Dining Room's food as well. We never miss the opportunity for a meal here! Last, but not least, at Disney Springs, is Enzo's Hideaway. If the adults can slip away for a cocktail or mocktail, you shouldn't miss this tunnel bar underneath the walkways of Disney Springs! You'll feel as if you've left Walt Disney World and magically transported to Italy. It really is the perfect getaway spot!

Of course, I also have to mention all of the Walt Disney World resorts as well. If you haven't spent time resort hopping, you may want to make sure your next trip includes visits to a number of resorts. Our favorite is visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in the evening so that we can participate in the campfire activities or view the African-inspired savanna with night vision goggles.

I hope these ideas might give you some inspiration for your next trip! Be sure to let the Disney Parks Moms Panel know if we can give you more information on these ideas, or any others!
