What is Disney's policy on changing a double cabin to a quad? I have gotten different explanations and prices from every agent. Sometimes the 3rd and 4th passenger rate is higher than 2 cabins. We have 2 doubles reserved and only want one cabin.

    Hi David,
Thanks so much for writing back!  I checked with my contact at Disney Cruise Line so I could give you the most accurate information about pricing.  If you decide to modify your existing reservation, the rates are determined according to the date of change.  It could be possible for the rates for the 3rd & 4th passengers to be higher than the 1st & 2nd Guest's rates because rates could have increased since your original booking date.  If the rates are higher with only one cabin, you may what to look at booking a different category to save some money.
I'm sorry you have gotten different explanations, but I hope my answer helps you understand the policy better.  Also, even though the stateroom you are booking can hold three or four Guests, there are times when you can't book those Guests because triple or quad spaces has sold out for your specific date or category.
Please let me know if you need further assistance, David.  I always glad to help!
