Hi Eric!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! The policy on face coverings did change recently to requiring all Guests ages 2 and up, must wear a face covering in certain areas. Currently, according to official Disney policy masks that cover the nose and mouth are required "while indoors and in Disney buses, the monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status.
This includes upon entering and throughout all attractions.' This means you would need to wear your mask on the rides. In outdoor common areas such as paths, streets, and walkways that are not part of the attraction queue, masks remain optional.
November is still a few months away, and a lot can change in 3 months. The policy could change again either requiring masks in more places or less. I would continue to check the
Theme Parks Experience Updates page as your trip approaches, as this is where you will find the official current policy on face coverings. It’s also a good idea to review this page in advance so the masks you bring meet the requirements.
We’ve made two trips to the parks while wearing masks in the past year, and while it was a bit hot in the summer, it was still
the most magical place on earth. After a year of missing out on many things, my kids were just so happy to be back at the most magical place on earth. Space Mountain still packs a thrill, the animals are still amazing on Kilimanjaro Safari, and the Hollywood Tower Hotel was still terrifying, even in our masks.
I hope this helps to answer your question, Eric. If you have additional questions before your visit, please free free to send us more questions. We are here to help!
Happy Planning!
