Hello. We are going to Disneyland the 2nd weekend in December for my sons 6th birthday. Where can we celebrate in the park? Any restaurants with special events? Also, it will be Christmas time, when does Disneyland release any Christmas info/schedules?

    Hello Amber,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Practically Perfect Day!

I'm so excited to hear you are planning a vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth in December to celebrate your son's birthday. You are going to create magical memories that will last a lifetime!

I can't wait to hear what the Disneyland Resort will offer during the holidays; it's my favorite time of year to visit the parks. Typically, an announcement is made on the Disney Parks Blog around October, so be sure to keep checking the website for any magical updates.

Be sure to stop by Guest Services and get your prince a free Birthday button to wear on his special day; Cast Members that see him in the parks will be sure to send him warm wishes throughout the day. We love to visit a lot of Meet 'N' Greets when celebrating magical birthdays, the Disney Characters know how to make each Guest feel special.

There are lots of ways to celebrate birthdays at The Happiest Place on Earth. We like to book a special meal at a Character Dining Experience such as Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park. The Characters stop by your table to sign autographs and make special memories with your family!

Treat your son to The Knight Package, complete with a sword and shield, at The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located in Fantasyland near Cinderella's Castle.

To add to the birthday party festivities, you can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake hotline at (714) 781-3463 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

I hope this helps and that you all have a pixie-dusted trip. If you have any more questions please write me back.

    Wishing you magic!
