Hi Julie! Welcome to planDisney!
Whether you're choosing to vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or Disneyland Resort in California you know you're going to have a magical time! As a resident of California, I bet you've visited Disneyland before and you and your party are getting very excited to head to the East Coast for a different dose of Disney.
Unfortunately, Theme Park Tickets that have previously been purchased for use at Disneyland Resort are unable to be used at Walt Disney World Resort. These Resorts operate as two completely separate entities and require different
Theme Park Tickets. While Theme Park Tickets at both Resorts are nonrefundable, the good thing is you won't lose the value of your already purchased Tickets. Even if your Disneyland Tickets pass their expiration date (as long as they remain unused) you'll still retain the value of your Ticket, allowing you to put that credit toward a future Theme Park Ticket purchase for Disneyland Resort.
Hopefully, even upon hEARing this news, you're still able to make the trek to Walt Disney World in Florida! With different and exciting Theme Parks like
EPCOT and
Disney's Animal Kingdom, you'll certainly be in for a magical and memorable stay. Before you purchase your Theme Park Tickets to Walt Disney World just make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation availability calendar to make sure there are Theme Park Reservations for the days you wish to visit. After you complete your purchase you'll be able to make your
Theme Park Reservations here.
