Going to Disneyland in September and we are going to Ariel's grotto. My daughter saw a commercial for WDW where a girl got a crown from Cinderella at a restaurant. Would Ariel's grotto do anything like that? Or could I buy one and have a princess give it?

    Hello Rachel,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help answer your vacation questions. "The sky's awake, so I'm awake, so..." it's almost time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!

That Walt Disney World Resort commercial was adorable wasn’t it?!? Ariel’s Grotto is definitely where you will want to dine at if your child loves Princesses. During your meal at Ariel’s Grotto, for each Disney Princess, themed music will begin playing and then a royal announcement will be made to Guests, at which point that Disney Princess will enter the dining hall and begin greeting Guests at each table for autographs and pictures.

That being said, it is very hard to say if you can set up such an arrangement as you saw on that Disney Parks commercial since the Disney Princesses visit table after table; it is unlikely they would be able to carry a gift to a table. I suggest you speak with a Cast Member when you arrive, you never know what pixie dust may come your way.

I hope this helps. Please visit me again with more questions as your planning continues!

Sending you pixie dust on your "royal pursuit" at the Disneyland Resort!
