We will be at the disneyland resort for my daughter's second birthday and are planning to go to Ariel's Groto. Since she is under three, do I make reservations for 2 (2 paying adults), or 3 (3 seats)? Thanks!

    Hello Pamela,

Thank you for your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let me start off by wishing a very Merry Birthday to your daughter! Celebrating a birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth is going to be magical.

Be sure to stop by Guest Services and tell them you are celebrating your daughter's birthday. The Cast Member will give her a free "It's My Birthday" button to wear; she will be sure to get birthday wishes and smiles all day.

Ariel's Grotto is one of our favorite places to dine at. The Disney Princesses make each and every Guest feel like they are "part of (their) world." When you make your reservations, be sure to include all Guests in your party size. Children under the age of 3 are permitted to share food off of an Adult meal or you may purchase their own meal from the Child's menu. Don't forget your autograph book and pen… your Dinglehopper won't work very well for that.

You can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake hotline at (714) 781-3463 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

I hope you have a wonderful time, Pamela. Please write us back if you have any more questions planning your Disney vacation.

Wishing you Faith, Trust, & Pixie Dust!
