will Disneyland still require reservations in 2024?

    Hi there, Maren!

Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to see you here again and we appreciate you bringing your question to us. I'm really excited for you to be visiting the Disneyland Resort early next year! You'll hopefully get to enjoy lower crowd levels at that time and can experience the Parks as the New Year begins!

Boy, do I wish that I had Madame Leota's powers and a crystal ball to see into the future! Even though the Walt Disney World Resort relaxed their reservation requirements earlier this year, that announcement did not apply to the Disneyland Resort. The reservation policy has remained consistent throughout the year and I'm afraid that we at planDisney don't have any inside knowledge on what might happen in the future. Your visit falls within the 120 day reservation window, so I hope that you've already made reservations for your visit! Without any recent news or updates though, I think it's safe to assume that the reservation system will remain the same when 2024 arrives.

I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog because if they announce anything big, it'll drop there first. Of course, all policies are subject to change so it would be good to keep up with any changes that they do make. Nevertheless, I hope that you have a truly magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, Maren.

If you have any further questions for us, please feel free to write anytime. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to see you again. Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
