What rides/attractions at Disneyland require the use of 3d glasses?

    Welcome to planDisney, Mauricio!

We're so glad you're here, and it sounds like you're interested in which attractions at the Disneyland Resort put you in the middle of the story! We love a good thrill and there's something magical about feeling like you are part of the attraction and on a mission. Whether you're excited to hop on these attractions, or you're hoping to find attractions that are safe for your party to enjoy, I'm here to help because you've got a play-date with destiny!

There are a few attractions that have 3D or 4D special effects requiring the guests to wear special glasses. As a glasses wearer, I can share that the glasses typically fit over regular/prescription glasses so you don't miss out on any of the action. Some of these attractions do have drops, are loud, and have varying light effects. At Disneyland Park, you'll find that the classic attraction Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, found in Tomorrowland, is the only one where guests will need to wear 3D glasses. However, Disney California Adventure Park has the following adventures:

I'd have to say that my favorite would be Toy Story Midway Mania, it's an interactive family-friendly adventure where you find yourself competing in larger-than-life carnival games! You might find out just how competitive your family really is after the experience! I also suggest a treat after a game, so pop over to Señor Buzz Churros for a churro (they have sweet and spicy options) or a meal at Poultry Palace because you will have worked up an appetite after all that fun!

If you're a fan of Pixar and the Toy Story franchise, I highly recommend a visit during Pixar Fest, from April 26 - August 4, where you'll join in the celebration of Pixar pals with exciting entertainment and enjoy limited-time food, beverages, and merchandise. When you're ready to rest your head, consider a sleepover at the newly opened Pixar Place Hotel to continue the magic of your trip.

Well, I'm eternally grateful that you stopped by planDisney, Mauricio. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!

So long, partner, have a magical day!
