Bonjour, Danielle!
Thanks for making planDisney a part of your magical vacation
beyond the reef and across the Atlantic. Like you, I'm planning a visit to Disneyland Paris, and I'm brimming with excitement! Can you believe that we'll be there at the same time? Maybe we'll share a toast on Main Street, U.S.A.!
As one of Mickey's Floridian neighbors, I'm sure you're well-versed in the ins and outs of The Most Magical Place on Earth, so while there are parts of Disneyland Paris that will feel familiar, it's truly
a whole new world in areas such
Alice's Curious Labyrinth and
Adventure Isle. Happily, if you're hoping to capture your magical moments in Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, you'll find the
Disney PhotoPass service works much like you're used to in Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be able to use a complimentary Disney PhotoPass card to link all of your photos to review and purchase at a later date, or you can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ to receive all of the photos from your vacation in a digital format.
While your Disney PhotoPass experience in Paris should feel familiar, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the use of Disney Gift Cards as they are not an accepted form of payment at this time. Disneyland Paris does sell
its own gift cards, but these cannot be purchased until you are inside the park, require in-person activation, and cannot be reloaded. If you were hoping to use Disney Gift Cards as a budgeting tool, you might consider pre-purchasing add-ons for your vacation (such as Disney PhotoPass,
Disney Premier Access Ultimate, or
reserved viewing eras for parades and nighttime shows) when possible to spread out the cost.
I hope this helps, Danielle, and that you have an incredible time on your magical vacation. If you're in need of any additional planning assistance, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
