Hi there, Robyn! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland Resort has officially begun its phased opening and is inviting Guests back to return to a land of magic! As this phased reopening continues, Disneyland Resort is working with current operational guidelines set by the state of California and local health officials.
I am happy to let you know that beginning June 15th, 2021 Guests that are not California residents may begin visiting Disneyland Resort! This means you will soon be able to experience Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Space, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.
It is important to note that there are other changes you will want to keep in mind during future visits, though! Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, modified experiences to reduce contact, and the requirement that all Guests ages two and older wear a face covering at all times.
Additionally, Guests will also need a reservation in addition to a theme park ticket when visiting either theme park! Currently, Guests may make their
theme park reservations at the same time that they purchase their tickets. It is also highly recommended that Guests check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to booking their stay to verify availability during their anticipated travel dates!
Best of luck as you continue to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions along the way!
