Greetings to you, Jennifer!Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for coming to us with your inquiry. That's so exciting that you have a trip to the Disneyland Resort planned for your son's birthday! My wife and I did the same thing with our daughter right before she turned three and I still remember the happiness and wonder on her face when she saw her favorite princesses come to life before her eyes.As you know, children under three years of age do not require a ticket to enter the Parks. But the fantastic news is that, as long as your son is two on the first day of your visit, he will not need a ticket for the length of your stay and is a "guest of Mickey." This includes his special makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and I confirmed with a Cast Member that no ticket scan is needed there, so he should be all set! Reservations can be made 60 days in advance, so I hope you were able to secure them. Here are some tips I like to recommend for toddlers:
Fun Fact: it was a merry-go-round in Griffith Park that first inspired Walt Disney to build Disneyland. So if you ride the Carrousel with your son, see if you can spot the lead horse Jingles, and take note of the flags around the Carrousel, each representing a Knight of the Round Table! Jennifer, I hope you found this helpful for your upcoming trip. There aren't that many un-birthdays left before your son turns three! On behalf of all of us at planDisney, we hope you all have a spectacular time at the Disneyland Resort! Visit us again anytime!-Al
