I am a California resident like yourself and I'm so grateful that Disney has allowed me to make monthly payments towards my Magic Key Pass. It's a nice perk for us and it allows many people to better budget their money and still get their Disney fix.
You are more than welcome to make additional payments towards the remaining balance of your
Magic Key Pass at any time. In fact, the monthly payment contract states that "you may pay your outstanding balance in whole or in part at any time without penalty." Other than the monthly recurring payment, there is no way to schedule an additional online payment on your own, however. If you are visiting the Parks, you should be able to approach a Cast Member at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to arrange an additional payment. You may also call the Magic Key Monthly Payment Plan Guest Services Line at 1-800-410-4656 to make additional payments through them.
I hope you've been enjoying that Magic Key Pass and making full use of its benefits and
discounts! I've been really happy with all the specials that they've offered us Magic Key Holders throughout the year and I've gotten some pretty neat souvenirs just by following the official
