MagicBand+ is available for use at the
Disneyland Resort! I love the ease it brings, from opening the door to my
Disneyland Resort Hotel room to scanning my
lightning lanes selected from
Disney Genie+. MagicBand+ is available for purchase at the
Disney Store or several locations in the park in a variety of designs.
Good news! According to
MagicBand+ Support, MagicBand+ can be reassigned to another ticket or pass! A MagicBand+ can only be linked to one Disney account at a time and can be assigned to only one ticket or pass at a time. A ticket or pass will remain assigned to the band until the ticket or pass has expired, or has been fully used, or until a new park admission is assigned to the band. Please note that when a MagicBand+ is unlinked from a MyDisney account, any ticket information saved to that MagicBand+ will be erased.
If you experience technical difficulties when trying to reassign a MagicBand+, you may need to reset your MagicBand+. If the technical issues continue, Hakuna Matata (it means no worries!). I spoke with a Cast Member and Veronica reported you can speak with a friendly Cast Member on the
Tickets line who will happily assist with reassigning the MagicBand+. Once your MagicBand+ is reassigned, all that’s left is to count down the days until your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
