I bought the tickets and genie+. I have seen answer to questions about handling multiple magicbands with one account but it refers to the my disney experience. Am I able to manage Lighting lane reservations for all magicbands with the disneyland app also?

Hi there, Brianna. Thanks for swinging like Tarzan over to planDisney.

I have great news, while the process to add a MagicBand+ is slightly different in the Disneyland Mobile App than in the My Disney Experience App, the ability to manage Genie+ and Lighting Lane reservations for multiple people and their Magic Bands is very similar.

My husband and I have linked our Magic Bands to our own MyDisney accounts; however, I manage all of my children's Magic Bands. To link a Magic Band+, you will log into your MyDisney account in the Disneyland Mobile App. From there, click the “hamburger” (☰) icon at the bottom right of the home screen and then scroll down and tap on MagicBand+. Once you do this, you should see any registered MagicBands listed below. If you don't see any, you can link them by clicking the blue plus sign at the top of the screen. If you have previously linked a MagicBand+ to your My Disney Experience mobile app for Walt Disney World, you will still need to link it to your Disneyland Mobile App.

If you want to add another adult to your account so that you can manage the entire group's plans, you will want to scan their theme park ticket into your account by scanning their MagicBand+ or ticket barcode into your Disneyland Mobile App. Brianna, you will again select the “hamburger” (☰) icon on the home screen and then select "Tickets and Passes." You should see any current admission tickets here. If you don't see all tickets listed, select the blue plus sign in the upper right corner and choose "Link Tickets & Passes." Then scan the ticket barcode from the other person's app or tap their MagicBand+ to add them. Once you've done this, your accounts will be linked. This will come in handy for any Disney PhotoPass pictures and for managing your group's Lighting Lane selections!

Brianna, I hope this helps you plan for the most magical day! Please let me know if you need any more help, and I will be happy to assist.

    See you real soon,
    Melissa
