At Disneyland, can you leave a park and re-enter that same park during the day?

    Hi Madison!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I usually have my toddler in tow when I visit Disneyland Resort, so we are big fans of taking a midday break for a nap back at our Disneyland Resort hotel and coming back later in the day for all the nighttime spectaculars!

When you enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for the first time, a friendly Cast Member will also take your picture and have you write your name on the back (if it's a physical ticket) to assign and link the ticket up to you. If you leave and re-enter the park, when you scan your ticket the second time, your picture from earlier in the day will pull back up, the Cast Member will see that you are the same person using the ticket and you'll be free to re-enter. This method is used whether you are visiting for one single day or multiple days during your stay, whether you are visiting one park per day or park hopping 'til you drop!

I hope this answers your question and helps you plan for your upcoming visit! Please come back and visit us again if we can help in any other way.
