Gabriella from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Will Disneyland be increasing capacity after June 15, or will some social distancing guidelines just not continue? Will more reservations be opening up for dates already currently booked?

Hello there, Gabriella! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort!

In just a few days, you will be able to visit the magic once more and begin making all-new memories that will last a lifetime! It’s time to start getting exciting about all the fun you’re going to be experiencing in the very near future!

At this time, Disneyland Resort is reopening in a phased manner. This means certain experiences may be modified or there may be new policies seen across the property. During upcoming visits, you may notice such changes as enhanced cleaning across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, all Guests ages two and up are required to wear face coverings throughout their visit except when actively eating or drinking.

With the change in state guidelines, Guests that are not California residents will be able to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks beginning June 15th, 2021! Currently, there have not been any official announcements regarding changes in theme park capacity. If you’re interested in keeping up with any changes that take place, I highly recommend keeping an eye on either the Disney Parks Blog website or the “Theme Parks: Know Before You Go” webpage. Both of these resources have the most up-to-date information regarding safety at the Disneyland Resort theme parks!

With all of this in mind, we also do not have any information on the addition of theme park reservations. However, I always encourage Guests to continue checking on availability through the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online! You never know if more spots will be added or if other Guests will cancel their reservations so it’s always worth a shot to keep an eye on it!

Best of luck as you continue to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort later this month! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
