Oh boy, Christin! Thanks for sending your question to planDisney. That sure is swell that you've booked a stay at the Disneyland Hotel this summer!
The Disneyland Hotel is a true icon; it originally opened in 1955 as a "motor inn" and was later purchased by Walt Disney. Since then, it has undergone many transformations, and its most recent refresh was completed in 2021. One of my favorite features is the fireworks lighting effects in the headboard that plays "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" when you touch the button. SO magical!
The standard guest rooms at the Disneyland Hotel have a small refrigerator and a Cuisinart Coffee Maker with Joffrey's Coffee, but one thing the rooms do not have are microwaves. When I called the hotel operator today, she said that, unfortunately, they also don't have them upon request. However, some common areas of the hotel, such as the lobbies of the Adventure Tower and the Frontier Tower, have vending rooms with microwaves, and they are open 24 hours a day.
The Coffee House also has a microwave that you can use during its operating hours from 6 AM to 11 AM. This little nook at the hotel serves up plenty of java and "grab n' go" style eats (and it is also the only place where you can find a Dole Whip with a shot of rum at Disneyland!).
Christin, I hope you have a great vacation with Mickey! If you have any more questions, stop back and see us again real soon. Take care!
